VP of Scientific Affairs Marion Lanteri recently joined the International Plasma and Fractionation Association (IPFA) executive board, as CTS joined as a member. She said of her appointment, “It is my honor to represent CTS internationally and to create new opportunities. I am also grateful that CTS invested in this membership, and I will make the best of it.”
IPFA’s mission is to support and promote the activities of nonprofit organizations around the globe engaged in the collection and fractionation of plasma to enable robust, safe supply and patient access to plasma-derived medicines. Additionally, through education and collaboration with stakeholders, they advocate for public health values and donor health protection.
According to an IPFA article, CTS’s membership brings a new category of contribution to IPFA from nonprofit research and clinical testing institutions. They describe this sector as being at the heart of the association and bringing together the different stakeholders that CTS represents and works with.
President & CEO Sally Caglioti said of the news, “I’m grateful to Marion for representing us with IPFA. Professional networking is a big part of why we have had so many growth opportunities at CTS. Building relationships and trust with external colleagues opens up all kinds of doors.”
